You come to the woods and prepare a shelter for your overnight stay ,
prepare a feast in an underground oven and then we build
our sweat lodge. You can make of what you wish, whether you are looking
for a Spiritual Experience or purely an experience to talk about.
What is a Sweat Lodge
The sweat lodge (also
called purification ceremony, sweat house, medicine
lodge, medicine house, or simply sweat)
is a ceremonial sauna and is an important event in some North American
First Nations or Native American cultures. There are several styles of
sweat lodges, ours are basic domed huts covered in blankets . Stones are
heated in a fire and then placed in a central pit in the
ground in th hut.
