About The Event
We have a unquie location of native upland woods which provide us with a wild and beautiful environment to work in. With our large parachute canopy in the woods and our fire alter you will feel like you are really in the wilds.
You will learn how to light fire using the materials around us plus a firesteel and also we shall use knives and axes to split wood down for the fire.
You will cook some banock bread over the fire, build shelters from leaves and sticks and learn how not to get lost in the woods and make chord from tree roots.
Also on the course you will learn how to identify all the major indigenous trees of Scotland.
